About

Caragh Jackson is a freelance illustrator based in London. Her work is characterized by fine, precise pencil drawing combined with rich textures and colours rendered in all manner of materials. A fine artist at heart, this diversity also extends to her subject matter and influences. Caragh's work was publicly exhibited for the first time when she was just six years old. A collage she had made was one of the few pieces selected for an Inter-Schools Show in Hong Kong; it is believed that her mother is still in possession of this artwork. After this early artistic success Caragh was encouraged to enhance her creative skills so it is little surprise that she discovered a love for painting whilst at school. This passion led her to a Fine Art National Diploma and then on to a BA in illustration at The Arts Institute, Bournemouth.
